How do I restore my Lifetime Pass?
Open Haru-key, go to Settings → Lifetime Pass and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to buy it. The pass works on all your iPhones and iPads that use the same Apple Account.
What’s free, and what does the Lifetime Pass add?
Free: 1 routine · 2 skins & 2 app icons · Tap-to-start timer & daily records · Check-only routines · Widgets & Live Activity · Apple Watch · Sound packs · vibration
Lifetime Pass: unlimited routines, all 9 skins and every app icon, custom colors and your own photo background, focus sounds, iCloud Drive folder sync and backup, JSON and Markdown export, and every future feature at no extra cost.
Is it really a one-time purchase?
Yes. The Lifetime Pass is a single purchase. No subscription, no renewal, and no extra charge for features we add later.
How do I move my data between iPhone and iPad?
On your iPhone, open Settings → Backup & Sync → Choose folder and pick a folder in iCloud Drive. On your iPad, choose the same folder. Both devices then merge records through the HaruKey.json file in that folder. Folder sync is part of the Lifetime Pass. Nothing goes through our servers — we don’t have any.
How do I back up or export my records?
Your records are always kept on your device. With the Lifetime Pass, go to Settings → Backup & Sync to back up and export everything as JSON (to restore later) or Markdown (to read anywhere), in a folder you choose — iCloud Drive or On My iPhone.
Can I just check a routine off, without a timer?
Yes. When you create or edit a routine, switch its kind from Timer to Check only. Tap the key once and today is done ✓; tap again to undo. Streaks and stats work just like timer routines.
How do I change sound effects and vibration?
In Settings, pick a sound pack (Classic, Duck, Pop, 8-bit, Kalimba, Drop, Boing) and a vibration style (Off, Light, Standard, Strong, Fun). All sound packs are free. You can also choose from 5 text sizes there.
Which languages does Haru-key understand?
The app is available in 20 languages — change it in Settings → Language. Making a routine from a sentence works on your device: English and Korean use built-in rules on every device; other languages use Apple Intelligence on supported devices. Where that isn’t available, you simply fill in the fields yourself.
How do I set up Apple Watch?
Install Haru-key on your watch from the Watch app on your iPhone (or let it install automatically). Today’s keys appear in the same style as on your iPhone. Tap one to start, pause or continue, or to check off a check-only routine, and swipe to move between routines. It works even when the iPhone app is closed. To add a complication, touch and hold the watch face, tap Edit, and choose Haru-key.
How do widgets and the Live Activity work?
Add a Haru-key widget using the widget picker when customizing your Home Screen or Lock Screen. When you start a key, a Live Activity shows your app icon, the running timer and today’s other routines on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Don’t see it? Make sure Live Activities are allowed for Haru-key in the iPhone Settings app.
How do I delete my data?
To delete one routine, open it and tap Delete routine. To remove everything, delete the app — all data lives only on your device. If you used iCloud Drive sync or exported files, delete them from that folder in the Files app.
