The short version
We do not collect or receive your routines or personal data. Haru-key stores your records on your device. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking. Optional folder sync uses a folder you choose in your own iCloud Drive.
1. Information we collect
None. The developer of Haru-key (“we”) does not collect personal information or usage data through the app. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We don’t run any servers for the app.
2. Data on your device
Your routines, daily records, settings and any photo you choose as a background are stored only on your device, inside the app. Widgets, the Live Activity and your paired Apple Watch get what they need directly from the app on your own devices — never through us.
3. Optional iCloud Drive sync
Optional with the Lifetime Pass. If you turn on sync, Haru-key saves your records (a JSON file and a readable Markdown file) to a folder you choose in your own iCloud Drive, so your iPhone and iPad can share them. iCloud Drive is Apple’s service, covered by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. We have no access to your iCloud account or to that folder. You can also export or back up files to any location you pick.
4. Microphone and speech recognition
Haru-key uses the microphone and speech recognition only when you tap the microphone button to say a routine. Speech is turned into text on your device. The audio is not recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
5. Understanding your sentence
Turning a sentence into a routine happens on your device: with built-in rules for English and Korean, and with Apple Intelligence’s on-device model for other languages on supported devices. Your sentences are never sent to us.
6. Notifications
Reminders, completion alerts and the weekly report are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push service is involved.
7. Purchases
The Lifetime Pass is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase with Apple on your device.
8. Children
Haru-key collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 or under the minimum age in your country.
9. Deleting your data
Delete a routine in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. If you used iCloud Drive sync or exported files, delete them from that folder yourself.
10. This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Our hosting provider processes standard technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages securely. Only your language and app-icon choices are saved in this browser, using localStorage; skin and photo previews are not saved. When the App Store download badge is enabled after release, its image will be loaded from Apple.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. If a change ever affects how your data is handled, we’ll say so clearly in the app’s release notes first.
